By banding together, we can all make a difference. It is our goal to give hope to the
seemingly hopeless; give guidance to the lost; seek positive solutions to negative
situations. Our main focus is on our young people. Children are the future and they are
the group most vulnerable to violence. Our goal is to establish and encourage positive
activities for them and provide full access to positive mentors and role models. There
are many children at crossroads facing decisions that may influence the rest of their
lives. The decisions they make will depend largely on the examples we set, the
encouragement we give, and the opportunities we provide.

WHY I, LOU ROGERS, STARTED "JUSTICE FOR ALL PEOPLE"
The decorated Army Veteran shown here was my nephew. His name was
Manuel Taylor. He survived the dangers of "Operation Desert Storm" and
other hazardous military operations. He did not, however, survive the
dangers that so often threaten today's youth. On October 22, 1993 he was
senselessly shot and killed in a prominent mall in Jacksonville, Florida. This
happened while he was doing what he often did in life - acting as a
peacemaker.
Justice for all People was formed to combat the violence that plagues our
neighborhoods. This grassroots organization is dedicated to making our
streets and neighborhoods safe once again. It is our firm belief that
individuals should not have to live with the threat of violence as they go
about their daily lives.
I would hate to think that Manuel Taylor, a decorated army veteran, a peacemaker, a person who really
enjoyed life, a genuinely nice person, my nephew, was killed for nothing. I would hate to think that all who
experienced the same senseless type of violence, did so for nothing. Let's work together and forge
something positive out of these very negative and devastating experiences. At the very least, let it
motivate us to become more active in making this world a better and more peaceful place. Manuel would
like that.
Blessed Are The Peacemakers...

Our goals will be accomplished through motivation and education. We will motivate and encourage our
young people to make the right choices because often, the right choice is not the easiest. We will also
educate these young people as they must learn the values and skills that will be so important to them
later on in life.
Our mission is to find ways to end the senseless violence that threatens our very existence. This
problem cannot be categorized as black or white, young or old, rich or poor. It is a problem that affects
all of us. We must join together to make our communities safe and strong!
